Xingshi Yong'an Temple. Xingshi Yong'an Temple enshrines Heavenly Holy Mother Mazu, also known as "Muzha Mazu". Xingshi Yong'an Temple enshrines Heavenly Holy Mother Mazu, also known as "Muzha Mazu". It refers to "Muzha Port" before the silting of the Taijiang Inland Sea, and it was a temple by the waterway with flourishing incense. Later, due to floods and plagues, people moved to higher ground, gradually forming a market, which is the origin of today's place name "Xingshi". The temple building of Xingshi Yong'an Temple is built with Southern Fujian-style wooden architecture, without a single nail used in the entire temple. The small and beautiful temple building is just the right scale to appreciate the wooden structure up close. During the renovation in 2018, the temple invited artist Liao Qingzhang, a winner of the Chinese Culture and Arts Heritage Award, to paint the door gods, beams, and doors inside the temple. Artist Liao combined the humanistic painting style of landscape and calligraphy, giving Yong'an Temple a different scholarly atmosphere.
