Yangzai Baosheng Dadi Temple. The former name of Baosheng Dadi Temple was "Dadi Palace". According to the "Miscellaneous Records" in Volume 9 of the Taiwan County Annals, the Daodugong Temple was built during the Dutch period, but the exact founding date cannot be verified. The temple underwent several renovations during the Qing Dynasty. During World War II, it was affected by the war and lacked maintenance, showing signs of dilapidation. After World War II, as people's living conditions gradually improved, the first post-war renovation was carried out in 1948. It was rebuilt again in 1974. Behind the bronze statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, the inscription "Made by disciple Cai Baozhen in the Ming Wanli Bingchen year" was found, which is 45 years earlier than Koxinga's landing in Taiwan (1661). This proves that Dadi Palace was indeed established during the Dutch period and is the only ancient Baosheng Dadi Temple in Taiwan. Although it cannot be proven that the temple was built in 1616, according to experts from the Tainan City Literature Committee who held a meeting in the temple at the end of November 1974, it was determined to have been built in 1624. Even with some discrepancies, it should not be far off.
