Yanmen Yanyu. Located in Xianpu, southwest of Neidong Village, Neimen District, the geological formation is badlands composed of argillite. Over the years, wind and rain have eroded and scoured it into a miraculous landscape of strange peaks and steep cliffs. Coupled with the erosion of the Erren River, the mountains are arranged like a flock of geese flying in formation, hence the name. The scenery of Yanmen is ever-changing, with different views in the morning, evening, sunny, and rainy weather. Especially due to the dry soil, whenever it rains, the heat steams up, and the misty rain creates a spectacular and dreamlike scene. This beautiful scenery has been listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Taiyang since the Qing Dynasty. The Yanmen Yanyu route features magnificent mountain ridges, winding valleys, and distant views of the Chianan Plain, making it a scenic and picturesque tourist route.
