Dakongshan Golf Course. Located in Tianliao District, Kaohsiung City, Dakongshan Golf Course is far from the hustle and bustle with pleasant scenery, yet it is only tens of kilometers away from the metropolitan areas of Tainan and Kaohsiung. Located in Tianliao District, Kaohsiung City, Dakongshan Golf Course is far from the hustle and bustle with pleasant scenery, yet it is only tens of kilometers away from the metropolitan areas of Tainan and Kaohsiung. The 160-hectare course features 101.6 hectares developed into an 18-hole layout, complete with gardens and various dining services. The course was designed by the renowned Japanese designer, Kunie Ito. Upon entering the access road to the course, you are greeted by straight rows of Hoop Pines on both sides, with towering trees. The landscape within the course is beautiful, with the 18-hole layout designed to follow the valleys and ridges, featuring gentle slopes, and surrounded by water hazards and sand traps to increase the challenge and enjoyment of each shot. Due to the abundance of mature trees, it is also known as a forest course. To cater to golfers who wish to avoid the sun, 18 holes have been equipped with night lighting, making Dakongshan Golf Course the only night course in southern Taiwan, offering golfers a different kind of enjoyment during hot summer days.
