Located in the lush mountains of Nansha District, Mount Zion can be found by heading north from Jiaxian along Provincial Highway 21 to Bridge No. 12, where an entrance sign is visible. Originally a wild and overgrown mountain ridge, it was later developed and managed by a group of devout New Testament believers, creating a paradise on earth. Mount Zion covers an area of approximately 200 hectares. Despite its remote location, it is well-planned, with a parking lot, snack bar, walking trails, a lake, and activity centers for various New Testament churches. The Zion Temple is situated at the highest point, offering a magnificent and beautiful view of the layered valleys stretching into the distance. The believers of Mount Zion live apart from the secular world, cultivating various organic vegetables and tea, raising poultry and livestock, and producing organic, non-toxic products for self-sufficiency and sale to tourists. Due to its mountain location, it is a suitable place for outings and escaping the summer heat. The most beautiful time at Mount Zion is around the Lunar New Year, when plum blossoms are in full bloom.
