Located in the Gangshan commercial district, Gangshan Park, covering an area of 5.95 hectares, is the oldest park in Gangshan District. It was formerly the Gangshan Shrine and is adjacent to the bustling Shou Tian Temple, making it an important recreational spot for the public for many years. In 2013, the city government began to renovate the park, preserving old trees, demolishing old hardware facilities, and rebuilding the shrine's torii gate. It also incorporated a lawn area with drainage hoses to store and collect rainwater, creating a 1,200-ton reservoir. Simultaneously, an ecological pond capable of holding approximately 1,600 tons of water was established to replenish groundwater, allowing the park to return to its natural greenery.
