Meinong Jingzi Pavilion. Jingzi Pavilion is also known as Shengji Pavilion, Jingsheng Pavilion, or Zizhi Pavilion. Jingzi Pavilion is also known as Shengji Pavilion, Jingsheng Pavilion, or Zizhi Pavilion. "Respecting characters and valuing words, promoting literary style" is a traditional concept deeply influenced by Confucian thought. Coupled with the Hakka people's great respect for written paper, stoves were built in villages to burn paper. Currently, four Jingzi Pavilions in Meinong District are relatively well-preserved, distributed in Jinguangliao, Shangzhuang, Longdu, and other places. Among them, the "Minong Zhuang Jingzi Pavilion," built during the Qianlong period and located at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Yong'an Road, is the oldest and most complete, and is a national third-class historic site. The Minong Zhuang Jingzi Pavilion is a hollow hexagonal three-story brick tower, built with swallowtail bricks. The pavilion body is decorated with colorful petal-shaped cut-and-paste decorations, and the pavilion roof has shallowly carved Ruyi patterns, with an elegant and simple style. On the stone tablet below the Jingzi Pavilion, deities closely related to education such as Cangjie, Confucius, and Wenchang Dijun are enshrined, reflecting Meinong's emphasis on literature and education.
