The Water Park covers an area of one hectare, originally a large water storage tank and water supply pipeline built in 1960 but later abandoned. Due to its historical value, the city government has preserved the pipelines and painted the exterior of the 3,800-ton water tank in vibrant colors. With lighting effects at night, it has become a beautiful landmark in Kaohsiung city. The park features seven landscape artworks, with the ground paved in curved patterns and connected by fiber optic light strips with glass mosaics to display a map of Kaohsiung and various colorful designs. The lush green park is as colorful and charming as a candy house during the day, while the gorgeous lighting at night presents a different, opulent mood, giving the rigid industrial site a soft and artistic new style.
