Built in 1917, the Fengshan Wireless Telegraph Station covers an area of 271 hectares and was one of the three major wireless telegraph stations during the Japanese colonial period. After the relocation of the Nationalist government to Taiwan, it became a place for White Terror interrogations, detentions, and military training. Due to its rare military architectural structure and profound and significant impact on Taiwan's history, it has been designated as a national historic site.
