The academy was founded on Changzhou Island in Guangzhou in the 13th year of the Republic of China, with Mr. Chiang Kai-shek appointed as the principal. He personally bestowed the motto "Love, Respect, Integrity, and Sincerity" and the inaugural address (which later became the lyrics of our national anthem). This marks the founding history of the Army Officer Academy. The Army Officer Academy has relocated three times in response to the changing times, cultivating tens of thousands of resolute and brave military personnel for the nation, who uphold their integrity and defend the country and its people. To record and preserve the moving history of the Army Officer Academy's nearly a century of founding, including the Northern Expedition, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and bandit suppression, the Army Officer Academy specifically established the Campus History Museum next to the tennis court on Huangpu 6th Road within the campus. Adjacent to the Education and Exhibition Hall, it introduces the history and future prospects of the Huangpu Military Academy, and is divided into sections: "Founding Father and Huangpu," "Mr. Chiang and Huangpu," "Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo and Huangpu," and "Huangpu Today." The two-story building houses various historical materials, artifacts, and photographs. It is also the best place to understand the cradle of military talent cultivation in our country and the history of the government over the past century.
