Walking at the intersection of Zhongzheng Road and Guangfu Road in Fengshan District, your gaze will be drawn to the towering Gothic European-style building on the skyline. This beautiful, pure white, and elegant church is the historic Fengshan Christian Presbyterian Church. In 1867, Dr. James Maxwell of the British Presbyterian Church purchased land in Fengshan's North Gate to spread the gospel, marking the predecessor of the Fengshan Presbyterian Church. After several renovations, it has achieved its current appearance. The soaring Gothic twin-tower structure is dignified and elegant, with spires pointing directly to the sky. The large cross on the facade, though simple, possesses a calming power. Coupled with the fan-shaped long staircase, it further enhances the church's solemn and refined atmosphere. Around Christmas, the Presbyterian Church lights up colorful lights and decorates a Christmas tree, adding vibrant festive splendor to Fengshan's winter nights with romance and joy. The church's location is also the ancient North Gate of Fengshan, adding a significant historical and cultural aura to the church.
