Miaochong Temple. Miaochong Temple was built in 1963 in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City. Later, due to the Kaohsiung City Government's road expansion project, the temple was relocated to the serene Qingliang Mountain in 1984. Currently, Miaochong Temple is located at the 7km mark of Provincial Highway 27. The environment is elegant and it is an excellent spot for viewing the beautiful scenery of the Laonong River. It consists of seven halls, and the temple walls are carved with many Buddha statues, with exquisite craftsmanship, which can be called works of art. The view from here is vast and suitable for climbing high to gaze into the distance.
