Baolai Miaotong Temple. Miaotong Temple is one of the three major Buddhist temples in Liugui District, with flourishing incense. It is close to the Baolai Hot Spring area and can be reached by taking Provincial Highway No. 27 to Provincial Highway No. 20, and then passing through Laonong River. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with the Laonong River winding through the valley. The temple's landscape is planned with solemnity, featuring lotus ponds, pavilions, and lush, orderly gardens, resembling a "Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss." The orange roof and white temple walls stand out against the verdant green mountains, visible from afar. Due to its elevated location, it is the best spot for viewing the Laonong River. The founder of Miaotong Temple was Master Guangqin, who led the disciples of the mountain to develop the originally barren land. Today, the temple's exterior is majestic, its halls are solemn, and its gardens are meticulously cared for and thriving, making the entire temple like a paradise on earth. Countless worshippers ascend the mountain on holidays or during the seventh lunar month.
