Kaohsiung Cultural Center. Established on April 16, 1981, Kaohsiung Cultural Center boasts an outdoor green space of 7.055 hectares and symbolizes Kaohsiung's cultural development. Guangzhou 1st Street, located alongside it, is also home to many art galleries. The Cultural Center not only provides a place for Kaohsiung citizens to relax and recreate but also enriches the artistic vision of the port city's residents. It offers two performance halls, Zhi De Hall and Zhi Shan Hall, seven exhibition halls, and a library, among other artistic spaces. The "Citizen Art Avenue" surrounding the Cultural Center, filled with a humanistic atmosphere, creates a unique space. Art installations such as artistic seats on the sidewalks, steel sculptures, and mosaic floor paintings have become models of "urban aesthetics."
