Labor Park. Built in 2003, Labor Park, located at the intersection of Zhongshan 3rd Road and Minquan Road in Qianzhen District, is the only park in Taiwan with a labor theme. In addition to the Labor Recreation Center and Labor University, the park also features the "Monument to Labor Casualties" in the plaza to commemorate and mourn the workers who sacrificed their lives due to occupational injuries during the economic development phase. Kaohsiung is Taiwan's largest industrial city. Labor Park and the "Monument to Labor Casualties" serve to awaken public awareness of labor welfare and safety, and to transform past painful experiences into future vigilance and knowledge, striving for a safe working environment and peaceful labor.
