Wenxing Temple. Deity enshrined: Qing Shui Zu Shi; located in Weixin Village, formerly known as Zhuzigang, it is an earlier developed area in Yong'an. As early as the tenth year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1805), believers pooled funds to build the village temple – Wenxing Temple, enshrining Qing Shui Zu Shi (Black-faced Patriarch) as the primary deity, who is the second generation patriarch, commonly referred to as "Old Ancestor" by devotees. The rear hall enshrines the Three Sages of the West (Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva), Manjushri Bodhisattva, and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. For over two hundred years, despite erosion from wind and rain and the temple's aged appearance, pilgrims from near and far seeking blessings continue to flock here. During the Japanese colonial era, villagers hid the deity statues to prevent them from being destroyed by the Japanese. Later, due to years of disrepair and severe damage, the temple was rebuilt in the 67th year of the Republic of China (1978) and completed after three years. In the 93rd year of the Republic of China (2004), the front and rear halls were redecorated. The door gods at the main entrance are the work of master temple painter Pan Lishui, and an ancient plaque inscribed with "Penetrating Zen" is also preserved within the temple.
