[Evaluation Valid Period: 2024/11/28~2027/11/27] [Excellence Valid Period: 2009/11/25~2012/11/24] Guang Hong Xing Co., Ltd. is a factory that produces handmade paper. The manufacturing of handmade paper requires favorable water quality and climate conditions to ensure the paper's long-term preservation. In addition to dedicating itself to the production of exquisite traditional handmade paper, the factory also focuses on teaching experiences, offering courses in papermaking, ink painting, and printing, allowing domestic and international visitors to gain different learning experiences during their travels. Currently, Guang Xing Paper Mill is the only handmade papermaking factory open to the public for visits and educational experiences. It offers teaching activities designed for all age groups, making it a transformed factory that is knowledgeable, fun, and challenging. It also features the Taiwan Handmade Paper Store, which offers over 30 types of exquisite Taiwanese handmade paper with different properties. Currently, the main focus is on promoting green craft paper (such as banana fiber paper, water bamboo husk paper, and sugarcane residue paper), embodying a unique "local production for local consumption" model within the cultural industry.
