[Accreditation Valid Period: 2025/11/18~2028/11/17] Yingge's Jianshanpu, sustained by the soil of this land. The people here, in the "Hsu Family" pottery factory by the railway in Jianshanpu, were just one of many in Jianshanpu. Many stories are left behind here, and we hope to share our passion for the culture and history of Jianshanpu, allowing everyone who strives for this land of Taiwan to better understand the stories that once unfolded here... My grandfather, Mr. Hsu Hsin-wang (1921-1982), his career in ceramics was an accidental, perhaps unintentional yet inevitable choice. He painstakingly forged ahead from the Japanese colonial era, through the era of Taiwan's rapid economic takeoff and prosperity, to our generation's current happiness. Reflecting slowly, we can better understand the meaning behind this endeavor. Standing under the eaves of this old factory, fallen leaves drift down through the gaps in the old fir wood beams of the roof. Quietly, we feel the atmosphere emanating from the firebricks that have weathered 90 years. Unintentionally, we can sense the hardships and sweat left by grandfather, instantly dripping onto the scorching hot kiln bricks, burning out how much of the simple, frugal, and diligent spirit of grandfather's old era in this place. It not only represents the hardworking spirit of Yingge people.
