[Evaluation Valid Period: 2023/07/19~2026/07/18] "From Southern Taiwan to Monga" In the 1960s, the area around Wanhua Station was a gathering place for people from southern Taiwan seeking a livelihood in the north. Grandpa and Grandma Hong came from Changhua and initially sold scarves and hats in the roundabout. After a period of hard work, they finally established a garment processing factory on Dali Street and opened a store in Wanhua. In 1977, Grandpa Hong decided to retire and handed over the two factories to his son. The predecessor of Yu Mei Ren Clothing Company was the garment processing factory later opened by Grandpa Hong in Banqiao. Decades have passed, and the Hong father and son have diligently managed the factory and store. Starting from selling ready-made clothes, they gradually noticed the demand for maternity wear and thus transformed into specializing in maternity clothing and related products, mainly for wholesale. Due to the quality of materials and craftsmanship, they gradually built a good reputation and became well-known in the Wanhua business district. During their peak, distributors had to queue up to place orders! From front-store, back-factory operations, special sales, opening multi-brand stores, to virtual channel marketing, and finally establishing a sightseeing factory, Yu Mei Ren has gone through the era of "Taiwanese money flooding up to the ankles" and has also experienced economic recession and the impact of declining birth rates. However, this veteran maternity wear company continues to leave its mark under the persistence of the Hong brothers. Supporting Taiwan, starting with MIT.
