Founder Mr. Zhuang Qinglin utilized fermentation technology, combined with the unique water quality and climate of the Xiluo area, to brew mellow and pure fermented black bean soy sauce, laying a strong foundation for Maruzhen Soy Sauce's future motto: "Health, Nature, Deliciousness," which has always been affirmed and loved by consumers. Maruzhen is located by the Zhuoshui River in Xiluo, benefiting from excellent water quality and a climate near the Tropic of Cancer, which are ideal conditions for soy sauce brewing. It primarily produces Taiwanese-style black bean soy sauce and is now 100 years old. To inherit the culture of soy sauce brewing, Maruzhen combined tourism and culture to establish Taiwan's first "Soy Sauce Tourism Factory," transforming and upgrading the old Xiluo factory. Through overall redevelopment and design planning, it showcases new ideas and charm. After renovation, it is open for visitors to understand the brewing process of traditional Taiwanese black bean soy sauce.
