Rice wine is closely related to the lives of Taiwanese people and has a wide range of applications, making it an excellent subject for industrial education. The rich display of winemaking artifacts combined with a spacious, green leisure environment offers visitors a relaxing and educational tourist experience. South of Chiayi and west of Taitung in eastern Taiwan, Pingtung Distillery is the only rice wine production factory in southern Taiwan, boasting a long history and culture that records many glorious years. Rice wine is a necessity for ordinary people for cooking, nourishment, banquets, and postpartum recovery. Pingtung is a major rice-producing area, truly a "Hometown of Rice Wine." Through the display of artifacts from the winemaking process, we can commemorate the great achievements of our predecessors in winemaking and promote local winemaking culture.
