[Evaluation Valid Period: 2023/05/16~2026/05/15] For 400 years, mullet has been the fish with the most emotional connection for Taiwanese people. Many fishermen have built families and become wealthy thanks to this 'golden fish'. Many people are happiest in the cold winter with a warm bowl of mullet roe noodles. Wedding banquets would be incomplete without mullet roe; gift-giving during festivals would be impolite without it. The trustworthy mullet, like an old friend, visits Taiwan and brings joyful news. The emotional connection between mullet and Taiwanese people is like an enduring flavor that melts in the mouth. Mullet culture is Taiwan's unique culture of joy. Jen Fang Mullet Roe has a history of over fifty years. It began as a small 2-ping shop in Yan Cheng Market, adorned with mullet roe. Due to its quality, it earned customer trust, built a good reputation, and secured a stable customer base. After the second generation took over, they actively introduced professional production processes and established standard operating procedures, becoming the first mullet roe factory to obtain both ISO22000 and HACCP food safety certifications. The original small shop still stands today, maintaining deep emotional ties with its long-time customers. Taiwan has abundant marine resources, yet few representative fishery brands. Japan has king crab, Mexico has abalone, Russia has caviar, and Yangcheng Lake has hairy crabs – all world-renowned.
