[Evaluation Valid Period: 2023/11/20~2026/11/19] In the 1970s, the Taiwan Provincial Monopoly Bureau (the former name of Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation before its restructuring in July 2002) observed the growth trend in beer sales. To fully meet the demand of the vast beer market in southern and eastern Taiwan, it invested 1.07 billion NT dollars in 1973 to build a new-style brewery in Shanhua Township, Tainan County, near Zengwen Reservoir. This brewery, the Chenggong Brewery (the former name of Shanhua Brewery before its restructuring in July 2002), had an annual production capacity of 7 million cases of beer. After the second and third phases of expansion, the current annual production capacity has reached 27.5 million cases. The restructured Shanhua Brewery upholds its excellent tradition, continues to focus on local culture and characteristics, fosters good neighborly relations, and integrates with local industries. Furthermore, it strives for excellence in its operations, successively obtaining certifications for multiple management systems such as ISO9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, TOSHMS, and ISO22000, ensuring its production operations meet international standards. ♦Excessive drinking is harmful to health♦ ♦Do not drink and drive, do not drive and drink♦ ♦Prohibited for persons under 18 years of age to drink alcohol♦
