These caves were originally at sea level but are now scattered on a cliff 150 meters high. This is due to the uplift of the East Coast landmass, where waves eroded the softer parts of the rock walls. Baxian Cave currently has walking paths leading to various sea caves. The largest cave is Lingyan Cave, and the highest cave from the ground is Kunlun Cave, at an altitude of 130 meters. Other caves include Qianyuan Cave, Chaochen Cave, Leilei Cave, Chaoyin Cave, Yongan Cave, and Shuilian Cave.
