The island is small, with the north and northeast sides mainly composed of rocks and coral flats. The southeast, southwest, and south waters feature golden sandy beaches formed by shells and coral fragments. Viewed from the south, it resembles a small white island floating on the azure sea. The idol drama "My Secret Garden" used Xianjiao Islet as its main filming location. Blue wooden houses were built on the existing fish-smoking stoves and stone houses on the island, making them very eye-catching and attracting many tourists. The seabed around Xianjiao Islet boasts colorful coral and tropical fish, making it a renowned snorkeling destination. The origin of the name Xianjiao Islet: The 'Xian' (danger) refers to the submerged reefs around the coast, which could cause ships to run aground and sink if not careful. This shows that the submerged reefs and large rocks have posed a significant threat to fishermen's operations since ancient times, hence the island was named Xianjiao (Dangerous Reef). This name not only reflects the dangers of the waters but also serves as a reminder for passing vessels to exercise extra caution in this area. Star chasing
