The predecessor of Duxing Village No. 10 was the officers' dormitory for the Penghu Island Fortress Command and the Makung Heavy Artillery Battalion during the Japanese colonial era. After World War II, it was taken over by the Nationalist government and converted into married quarters for officers of the Penghu Defense Command, and named "Duxing Village No. 10." Duxing Village No. 10 combines historical culture with humanistic landscapes. In order to ensure the sustainable inheritance of military dependents' village culture, the Penghu County Government designated it as a historical site of Penghu County in 2007.
