The basalt columns of Hujing Island are very similar to those of Tongpan Island, both featuring spectacular columnar jointing of basalt. They are arranged along the edge of the steep cliffs, like a forest of giant stones, with a very majestic presence. Goats can often be seen on the grassy slopes below the basalt, with their imposing presence.
