In addition to providing a resting space for cyclists, it also incorporates a cycling landscape art created by internationally renowned artist Hong Yi. The ground pavement features marine life patterns printed by local artists, offering a comfortable cycling rest space and attracting tourists to take photos and linger. This showcases the aesthetic of the landscape to create a distinct identity for the Pengnan scenic area, forming a close integration of landscape art and environmental space. It also allows travelers to explore various famous attractions in Pengnan, such as the Fenggui Sea Cave for listening to the waves, Shanshui Beach, and the Jingan Canoe experience, showcasing the beautiful ocean scenery of Penghu, one of the world's most beautiful bays. Completed in 2023, the Suogang Cycling Rest Stop is a must-visit check-in spot for cyclists. We invited Taiwanese contemporary artist Hong Yi to use the number "15" to represent the 1 city and 5 townships of Penghu Island, and to use vibrant and lively colors to express diverse local elements and a rich humanistic atmosphere. The streamlined, curved golden moray eel forms the English letter "L," combined with a wheel containing the characters "Penghu" to form "OVE," and a character resembling "tide" for "Hu." In addition to the LOVE cycling sign, there is also a cute "Heart Swan" whose long neck further enhances its charm.
