The Liuqiu Management Station and Visitor Center is a three-story building located on a mountainside next to Baisha Tourist Port. Due to the slope, the main entrance is on the second floor. The lobby features a tourist information counter staffed by personnel who provide real-time travel consultation services. It is equipped with dynamic and static tourist guidance facilities, as well as a large briefing (conference) room that can accommodate 75 people, suitable for large meetings and guided tours for group travelers. The outdoor area includes an entrance plaza, a sea-view platform, and a shop. The first floor houses the management station's offices and is not open to visitors, but the outdoor viewing platform is available for visitors to rest and enjoy the views of Baisha Tourist Port and the beautiful sea. The third floor is the dormitory area and is also not open for visits. The predecessor of the Liuqiu Management Station and Visitor Center was the Liuqiu Township Library, built in 1995. In 2000, Liuqiu Township was incorporated into the management scope of Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. Due to the initial difficulty in acquiring land in Liuqiu Township, a portion of the Liuqiu Township Library was borrowed from the township office to serve as a temporary office for the management station and visitor center. However, to improve the quality of recreational services and to cope with the increasing number of visitors to the Liuqiu Scenic Area, the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration obtained the land and building of the Liuqiu Township Library through compensated transfer with the consent of the township office in 2009, and planned to renovate it into a permanent facility.
