Wild Boar Ditch. The origin of the name "Wild Boar Ditch" comes from a legend about a wild boar spirit. While a fairy was bathing by the sea, the spirit stole her colorful clothes, using them to threaten her. Later, the fairy pretended to agree, and after retrieving her clothes, she left. The wild boar spirit, deceived and ashamed, cried out in anguish and died, leading to the naming of "Wild Boar Ditch". Wild Boar Ditch is developed along the coral reef terrain, with wooden boardwalks and trails. Interpretive signs and viewing platforms are set up along the way. A round trip takes about an hour. The trail is filled with century-old banyan trees and climbing vines. Strolling through it is cool and pleasant. Coral reefs and shell fossils are everywhere. Opening your arms, you embrace sea-eroded wonders over tens of millions of years old. What reaches your eyes, ears, and heart is an environment full of forest phytoncides.
