Whether for auspicious dates for weddings and funerals, celebrating full moons, seeking marriage, inquiring about illnesses, or praying for a bountiful catch for fishing boats, the residents of Xiaoliuqiu rely on Guanyin Bodhisattva for all aspects of life, from birth and death to joy and sorrow. They always come here to draw lots and seek divine guidance, making it a spiritual anchor for the villagers! In 1980, the late President Chiang Ching-kuo visited this temple and donated 1,000 yuan for incense and oil money, which greatly enhanced the temple's reputation throughout Taiwan! Below Biyun Temple, there is a wooden boardwalk for observing the bamboo forest ecosystem. Walking through it, sunlight filters through the gaps in the trees, creating a refreshing atmosphere. At night, with the projection of lights, the bamboo forest sways with the gentle breeze accompanied by flowing water, and the croaking of frogs can be heard everywhere.
