The main route of the Dapeng Bay cycling system turns into the left bank wetland park at 2k+500. Because it needs to cross the Linbian Drainage, a bridge exclusively for bicycles and pedestrians was built. Considering the hot climate of southern Taiwan, the bridge is designed with a pavilion-style roof with double slopes and light transmission, and V-shaped wooden louvers in the corridor. This not only reduces interference with surrounding animals but also provides shade, shelter from rain, and a place for birdwatching. The pavilion is 35 meters long. Because its shape is a long corridor-style pavilion spanning the bridge, tourists call it the "Bridge Pavilion." The Bridge Pavilion design provides a connection for bicycle and pedestrian routes and serves as an important gathering point for Dapeng Bay's ecological tourism. The bridge is constructed with steel and wood structures. The bridge design is inspired by the imagery of "The Bridges of Madison County," hoping that tourists will have a beautiful encounter with Dapeng Bay's ecological environment. Looking at the Bridge Pavilion from a distance, it resembles a wooden boat sailing on the waterfront between blue skies and green forests. Tourists can stop briefly at the Bridge Pavilion to enjoy a moment of peaceful freedom and elegant tranquility; feel the light flowing down from the pavilion's canopy, feel the gentle breeze, and experience an ecological journey of breathing with nature, pulsating with the earth, and soaring with migratory birds.
