Kongming Temple of Enlightenment and Mystery. Located in Wenzheng Lane, Zhongming Village, Yuchi Township, it is the only temple in Taiwan dedicated to Zhuge Liang. The statue of Zhuge Kongming enshrined on the right side in front of the temple holds a feather fan in its right hand. Located in Wenzheng Lane, Zhongming Village, Yuchi Township, this is the only temple in Taiwan dedicated to Zhuge Liang. To the right of the temple entrance stands a statue of Zhuge Kongming, holding a feather fan in his right hand and a scroll in his left. It stands 36 feet tall and is said to be the tallest Kongming statue in Asia. In front of the temple is the Crouching Dragon Terrace, which features a statue of Liu Bei visiting Zhuge Liang's thatched cottage three times. The temple has two floors. The second floor enshrines the God of War, Guan Gong, whose statue is nine feet tall, exuding solemnity and majesty. The main deities on the first floor are Zhuge Wuhou and Xuan Tian Shang Di. The founding of the Kongming Temple can be traced back to the Japanese colonial era in 1901, when a villager named Shi Tianfu worshipped the Three Pure Ones in his home, calling it "Mingde Hall." Due to its miraculous efficacy, it gradually became a local center of faith. In 1924, as the altar was simple and the space cramped, a new temple was rebuilt under the initiative of devotees. At this time, in addition to the original Three Pure Ones, Zhuge Kongming and Beiji Xuan Tian Shang Di were also enshrined. As the original temple was dilapidated, a new site was chosen for construction. With the assistance of several landowners who donated land, construction of the new temple began in 1979, and the temple was officially renamed "Qishi Xuanji Yuan.
