Located on Cuiziliao Mountain in Dayan Village, Yuchi Township, Nantou, Jinlong Mountain is approximately 820 meters above sea level. It is a famous low-altitude scenic spot in central Taiwan, known for its magnificent sea of clouds, dawn light, and the "glass light" phenomenon, making it a popular destination for photography enthusiasts and travelers seeking sunrises and sea of clouds. The Jinlong Mountain Trail is about 1.5 kilometers long and features three viewing pavilions (commonly known as Pavilion One, Two, and Three), each with a parking lot, allowing visitors to choose their hiking route based on their physical condition and time. The trail winds through dense forests, offering a tranquil environment. During spring, it becomes a hidden gem adorned with blooming cherry blossoms, attracting many flower-viewing tourists. In the early morning, Jinlong Mountain is an excellent spot for watching the sunrise and sea of clouds. Especially on clear mornings after rain between October and March each year, a fairy-tale-like sea of clouds often intertwines with the dawn light, creating a dreamlike scenery. At night, the lights of Yuchi Township and Puli Town below, combined with low-lying clouds, create a dreamlike "glass light" phenomenon, adding a mysterious charm to the night view.
