After the school was abolished and merged in 2008, the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration actively sought to revitalize and utilize the school grounds, transforming it into the Sun Moon Lake Special Study Tour Center. In 2023, it began operations under the management of the Beloved Music Culture Foundation, an organization dedicated to arts and cultural education and promotion. The center will introduce local experimental education institutions and performing arts groups from Nantou, and organize life and music experience camps. It aims to bring music, nature, and culture back to simplicity and into everyone's lives in this tranquil natural environment.
