After Typhoon Morakot, after 8 long years, the train finally sounded its whistle again in Shizulu Community. Shizulu is located on the southern edge of Shizulu Village in Alishan Township. It was once a strategic pass for inter-tribal north-south transportation, a midway station for journeys to Alishan in ancient times, and a junction point for ancient trails leading to the tribes of Laiji, Dabang, and Tefuye. After the railway was completed, it became the transportation hub for the northern and southern regions of Alishan Township.
