Snake Head Mountain. Snake Head Mountain is located at kilometer 12 on Provincial Highway 132 in Maolin District. It can be seen on the way to Duona Village. Snake Head Mountain is a typical meandering river landform, originally an entrenched meander. It is situated opposite Dragon Head Mountain, forming a pair. Snake Head Mountain is also regarded as a sacred mountain guarding the indigenous people and is one of the most famous attractions in the Maolin area.
