Sanzhi Visitor Center. Located on a hillside surrounded by mountains, the Sanzhi Visitor Center offers a vast panoramic view. In addition to providing visitors with a comfortable and spacious resting area, it also offers travel information, exhibition introductions, and material requests, making it convenient and diverse. The main building is designed in the style of Tang Dynasty architecture, with simple and elegant colors, showcasing a unique blend of classical and modern taste. The Celebrity and Cultural Relics Hall is located inside the visitor center, in front of the former residence of former President Lee Teng-hui, Yuanxingju, and is a new attraction that opened in October 2004. The Celebrity and Cultural Relics Hall displays the lives and contributions of four famous people from Sanzhi: Taiwan's first Doctor of Medicine—the renowned physician Du Tsung-ming; Taiwan's first international composer—Wen-Yin Chiang; the first directly elected president—Lee Teng-hui; and the political pioneer—the legendary figure Lu Hsiu-yi. Through their life stories, visitors can learn more about the wonderful tales of Sanzhi, highlighting the outstanding celebrities and beautiful scenery of the area. In addition to enjoying the vast sea and mountain views, visitors can also experience a spiritual cleansing and a new way of intellectual recreation through the atmosphere of the Celebrity and Cultural Relics Hall.
