Qingshan Waterfall is located in Jianhuan Lake on the upper reaches of Laomei River, formerly known as "Jianhuan Lake Waterfall." The towering Mount Zhuzi converges the abundant water from the mountains, and the water flows along the river valley fault with a significant drop, thus forming Qingshan Waterfall in the Shimen mountain forest. Walking slowly up the trail, you will be accompanied by green mountains and Laomei River along the way, with lush trees providing shade and birds singing, so you won't suffer from the sun even in midsummer. To visit the scenic Qingshan Waterfall, you must climb up along the Kandi Liao Canal, which was built to irrigate the terraced fields. Following the gurgling sound of water and walking on a gentle slope, you can leisurely stroll along the trail. Looking around, in addition to the company of green mountains and Laomei River, Miscanthus sinensis sways in the wind, and various trees with unique growth postures are on both sides. Occasionally, you can look back at the coast, see the rolling hills rising from the mountains, with terraced fields everywhere, and enjoy the pleasure of climbing high to admire the scenery. When you come to Shimen, besides following the coastline to witness the magical changes of nature's landscaping, you might as well drive towards the mountains and start a tranquil mountain forest journey at Qingshan Waterfall Trail, enjoying the comfort and freedom of being away from the hustle and bustle.
