In the center of the old street, the Guang'an Temple entrance features the most popular duck meat stall, where the self-service style of picking dishes has formed a unique local landscape. "Jingshan Old Street" is the only Qing Dynasty commercial old street on the North Coast. During the Qing Dynasty, the old street was as prosperous as a modern commercial city, serving as a bustling area for commercial activities. A walk through it reveals many traces of its past prosperity. The few remaining old houses next to Cihu Palace, which are old "street houses," are traditional long, connected shop-houses with Min-style buildings and Western-style facades, as well as narrow, deep arcade buildings. Nearby, there is also a traditional Chinese medicine shop, with furniture and medicine jars that appear to have weathered the years, still retaining remnants of the Qing Dynasty. Although the prosperous scene is now in the past, with comprehensive preservation planning, the tourist pedestrian area of the old street is paved with manhole covers engraved with the characteristics of Jinbaoli Old Street. These creative little touches aim to bring more surprises and allow visitors to relive the past prosperity and savor the nostalgic atmosphere of this old street.
