Badouzi Fishing Harbor is a fishing port that combines a traditional fishing market with tourism, leisure, and seafood restaurants. At the harbor entrance sits a retired deep-sea fishing vessel, the "Hai Gong Hao." After eighteen years of service, the Hai Gong Hao retired in 1993 and is now docked at the harbor entrance for visitors to see. Its massive hull stands by the roadside, having become an important landmark of Badouzi Fishing Harbor. The harbor offers ample parking space for both cars and tour buses. The fish market within the harbor allows visitors to directly purchase fresh fish, shrimp, crabs, and other seafood caught by fishermen. Not only is it fresh, but the prices are also cheaper than at regular fish markets. For visitors who cannot take their purchases home, restaurants within the harbor offer a convenient service where they can cook the seafood on the spot, allowing for an immediate and satisfying dining experience! Furthermore, visitors can board a "Blue Highway" sightseeing and recreational fishing boat from Badouzi Fishing Harbor to visit Keelung Islet, the "Dragon Pearl of the Sea," and admire the azure seascape. Every year, Keelung City's annual Squid Season event, the Dragon Boat Festival races, the National Shore Fishing Invitational Tournament, and vibrant international sailing competitions are held with great fanfare at Badouzi Fishing Harbor.
