The trail is 753 meters long, with a mix of stone paths and steel structure boardwalks, all solid and flat. Along the way, you can see the natural ecosystem dominated by herbaceous and vine plants, as well as large trees like acacia and red nanmu providing ample shade. Golden sunlight filters through the forest, making for a relaxing and comfortable walk. From the entrance to "Chuhuohao" is about 500 meters, with a steep ascent. After reaching the ridge, it becomes a gentle slope in the saddle. The observation platform to the east offers an open view, and this is precisely where the signal fire was lit during the Battle of Taipei in the Yiwei year, filled with historical traces and a sense of nostalgia. From the saddle to the end of the trail is about 300 meters, all gentle slopes of gravel paths. Walking through the lush, towering forest, you only hear the chirping of birds and insects, with no hustle and bustle of vehicles. Occasionally, in open areas along the path, you can overlook the magnificent scenery of the Tamsui River estuary, bringing a sense of sudden enlightenment. Treehouses are also dotted along the trail, with their unique and eye-catching designs. Viewing the scenery from the treehouses is full of childhood fun. Before the observation platform at the end of the trail, there are airplane wreckage and a stone monument by the roadside, mainly established to commemorate an air crash during an air force exercise in 1972.
