Fulong Mountain Trail. The Fulong Mountain Trail is approximately 1,315 meters long and is the former front section of the "Guanyin Ancient Trail." Along the way, you can pass by "Kaishan Lingyun Temple" and the trail's endpoint, "Lingyun Temple.". Along the way, you can pass by "Kaishan Lingyun Temple" and the trail's endpoint, "Lingyun Zen Temple." Currently, the trail is divided into two sections due to the construction of Lingyun Road. The first section's entrance is next to No. 41, Section 3, Lingyun Road, and is about 400 meters long. It follows a small stream, with babbling water and lush vegetation along the way. The path has gentle undulations, making it easy and relaxing to walk. The end of the first section is at Hongxing Chicken Restaurant (First Parking Lot). Continue along the paved road (North 53-1) for 700 meters to reach the entrance of the second section of the trail. The entire ancient trail is paved with stone steps, with verdant vegetation lining the path. Towering trees with intertwined branches enhance the elegant and tranquil atmosphere of pilgrimage, adding to the reverence and solemnity felt by many visitors when visiting the ancient temples. Beside the middle section of the trail is the ancient and elegant "Kaishan Lingyun Temple." Continuing further up the serene trail leads to "Lingyun Zen Temple," which houses the largest indoor statue of Guanyin with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes in Taiwan. The flower corridor in the back hall of the Zen temple enshrines Guanyin statues that once stood by the ancient trail. Originally, there were 33 sacred statues, but with the passage of time, only a few of the simple stone-carved Guanyin remain. The mottled marks on the statues have become the best testament to the passing years.
