Sanliaowan Donglong Temple. Donglong Temple was established by the ancestors of Sanliaowan who crossed the sea with Zheng Chenggong to cultivate Taiwan. To ensure a safe journey, they specially welcomed the statue of Lord Li to protect them. Later, the people, grateful for the divine power of Lord Li, initially built a thatched hut and a public house for worship. Donglong Temple was established by the ancestors of Sanliaowan who crossed the sea with Zheng Chenggong to cultivate Taiwan. Later, the people, grateful for the divine power of Lord Li, initially built a thatched hut and a public house for worship. Donglong Temple features traditional Fujian-style architecture. The main deities enshrined are Lords Li, Wen, Wu, and Chi, as well as Bao Sheng Da Di. The temple also houses two permanently stationed "Wang Chuan" (Royal Boats), one made of wood and the other of copper, built around 1976. The copper Wang Chuan is the only ancient Quanzhou-style sailing boat of its kind in Taiwan. The carvings of the sailors and the boat structures are exquisite, with lifelike figures that possess significant folk art value.
