Due to economic structural changes, the local salt industry abandoned the salt fields. After many years of disuse, years of rainwater erosion and desalination, coupled with land subsidence, and influenced by various natural and human factors, this area eventually formed a wetland environment rich in ecology, attracting a large number of winter and summer migratory birds to inhabit and forage.
