Taoyuan Valley, with its lush green grass, was formerly known as Kunzi Mountain, a place where children grazed livestock and played during the farming off-season. Today, it is a popular hiking route, renowned for its gently sloping grassland that extends for three kilometers, resembling a green carpet meticulously woven by nature. On clear days, it offers 360-degree views, looking east to the Pacific Ocean and north to Longdong Cape. In autumn and winter, strong seasonal winds bring clusters of clouds to Taoyuan Valley, and the white-backed silvergrass covering the mountains creates waves as the mountain and sea breezes blow, forming a fresh and beautiful pastoral landscape. Taoyuan Valley, as its name suggests, is the Peach Blossom Spring of Wuling people, offering a sense of peace and tranquility as if in another world. With a few houses, the sight of curling smoke and the sounds of chickens and dogs would leave hikers deeply impressed by this paradise, with lingering memories. Ascending from Renze Community is the traditional route to Taoyuan Valley, featuring a steep uphill climb, winding and turning, until suddenly opening up to a breathtaking vista. As you look up and down at the distant scenery and nearby objects, your mind begins to clear. Continuing to the vast, wild grassland, companions can sit and chat, or lie down comfortably, gazing at the blue sky, feeling the mountain breeze.
