Due to the 300-year-old 'Bapou Canal' being excavated here for its water source, the community has skilled workers who craft 'longzai gao' (bamboo cages) to assist the Water Conservancy Bureau in diverting water from the Zhuoshui River into the Bapou Canal. The gurgling water irrigates the Changhua Plain, earning it the title of the 'Mother River of Changhua'. The community also boasts the 'Bizi Tou Station' on the Jiji Branch Line, which was developed due to the thriving timber industry, featuring landmark constructions and streets filled with historical charm. To express gratitude for the construction of the canal, local characteristic activities are organized annually according to the four seasons: 'Flower Encountering the Railway' in spring, 'Black Mud Fields' in summer, 'Hearing the River Sing Again' in autumn, and 'Searching for the Canal Head Immortal' in winter. Additionally, the 'Bapou Canal Running Water Festival' is held in early November each year.
