It's only a five-minute walk to the entrance of Meilun Mountain, where you can see the entire city of Hualien and the seaside. At night, you can visit the famous Nanbin Night Market and Ziqiang Night Market. We can also arrange shrimp catching, fishing, and boat night fishing tours for guests, as well as two-day, one-night package tours. From April to May, Liyu Lake is a great place for bird watching, firefly watching, butterfly watching, and plant observation. August to September is the Golden Needle Flower season at Sixty Stone Mountain in Fuli. July to August is the Hualien Indigenous Harvest Festival. October is the Hualien International Stone Sculpture Festival. November features the Taroko Gorge Marathon and Gorge Concert. Hualien's culinary specialties include San Guoyi Restaurant, Yuelu, Sakura Field Health Center, Huabenjia (Hegawa), Lichuan Fish Pond, as well as Shunfuyu Snacks, Gongzheng Baozi, Mr. Goose, Laicheng Pork Ribs, Dalu Noodles, First BBQ, and Jiang's Hualien Style Coffin Bread, all of which are delicious. I enjoy fishing and have been in the fishing tackle business in Hualien for over twenty years. This business was passed down from my father's shop in Hualien, which has been operating for forty years. I took over and love fishing, often going with friends to the streams or seaside for rock fishing, surf fishing, and boat fishing, to enjoy the fresh air of nature and the sea.
