Makapahay Creative. Makapahay Creative (Taitung Makapahay Creative Homestay) is the Amis indigenous language, meaning very good, very beautiful, very great. Makapahay Creative (Taitung Makapahay Creative Homestay) is the Amis indigenous language, meaning very good, very beautiful, very great. We are located in the Malan community in the center of Taitung City, a traditional Amis settlement area. The exterior uses the unique cement relief painting technique of the Rukai and Paiwan tribes, expressing the beauty of traditional totems and culture. The installation art in the lobby, arcade, and backyard is based on Amis culture, using stones from Taiwan and Hualien to create a beautiful painting of an Amis warrior dance. The construction took nine months and is a very exquisite and thoughtful work, showcasing authentic beauty.
