As it was the first time purchasing raw wood, and fearing poor quality after cutting, I visited lumber yards multiple times a day. After more than two weeks of consideration, I finally made the decision. Heaven favored the simple-hearted; the quality was unexpectedly good. The interior decoration maximized the use of this cypress, with all outdoor and indoor lighting, table tops, and decorations made from the side pieces. The room features a 5.3-meter-long raw wood as the headboard, allowing us to be closer to the texture of the raw wood and be enveloped by the fragrance of the cypress. Cycling through the scenic rice paddies is a gift from heaven. The An Nong River Flood Diversion Weir Scenic Area is only 350 meters away, where the babbling water and vast, boundless grasslands open up the mind and help forget the troubles of work. The Dazhou Station is another 400 meters away, where you can experience a station built with raw wood and learn about the history and prosperity of Taipingshan. For families, the Yinnong Ranch and Niuchezhuan Preserved Fruit Cultural Village are 1.2 kilometers away, offering activities like feeding sheep. You can also cool off with a cup of goat milk ice cream on a hot summer day. To taste Yilan's preserved fruits, visit the Niuchezhuan Preserved Fruit Cultural Village, known for its unique exterior and production.
